A group of classmates meet up for a slumber party at the odd friend’s house, where they will encounter monstrous housemates that make them do their chores, solve puzzles and question their perception of personal relationships.
The book is an absurd retelling of the strange feelings a kid would experience when visiting friend‘s families, where they have to adapt to unknown customs and family dynamics and question their concept of what it means to be home.
The story consists of a walk to the house, a journey through it and all of its strange corners and members, an excessively hedonistic session of playing games in the safety of their room and a regretful morning goodbye.
