Once Upon a Time There Was and Will Be So Much More

Hundreds of millions of years ago, land took shape. Thousands of years ago, people built some very large things. A month ago, it was still summer. Where will you be in an hour? How will you celebrate your birthday next year? What will you stand in awe of forever and ever?

This book takes us on a journey through time. It begins in the distant past, catches up to the present midway through, and then leads us with its questions into the future. Both the fleeting present, which is gone in the blink of an eye, and the enormity of time are depicted in a unique way: the pages of the book become smaller as we draw closer to the present, only to grow larger again as we move into the future.
