Nonno Penguin is the story of a girl whose grandpa suddenly turns into a penguin. Everything is different, everything is strange, nothing is how it was before. Our protagonist must navigate the changes in his relationship with his beloved Nonno.
What to do with a penguin? It can’t speak, it just makes loud noises. It can’t eat properly, a penguin has no thumbs nor fingers! And it surely can’t play Nonno’s beloved mandolin! What happened to grandpa? And why?!
Our protagonist might feel lost and confused about these sudden changes… and maybe that’s something she can share with Grandpa penguin.
