Wanda Dufner

Anouk, Win and the oak tree

The story is about the siblings Anouk and her little brother Win. There is a gigantic oak tree in front of their apartment block. The two children have a special relationship with nature. They are both talking and playing with the local animals. But then they learn that the oak is to be cut down by the grim Bardelius and the animals leave the tree. The two children stop the animals and persuade them to play a trick on the tree-cutter Bardelius. Will they succeed?

“It’s very hard to describe in one sentence everything that makes working with my mentorees, Wanda Dufner and Sabine Rufener, who proceed very differently so exciting!”
